# The POD Token

As every DeFi protocol, the **POD** token will be the representation of shares of **Pod Finance** protocol. Revenue generated from every POD (Vault) created over the protocol will be streamed within the POD ecosystem and token holders.

On the other hand, **POD** will also be used as incentives for particular Pods that generate considerable volume and continued traction during its lifetime duration. Also, for selected partners that want to be part of the **Pod Finance** ecosystem.

## **Token Metrics**

The maximum supply of the **POD Token** will be 28,000,000 tokens, with an initial FDV of 35K USD and an initial price of 0.00126 USD/POD.

The fair launch will be hosted on **Uniswap** (UNI-V3), with an initial liquidity of 20k USD, provided by the team.

### **Distribution**

As stated before, POD will be the token that rules the Pod Finance ecosystem. It will gain value according to the protocol usage and from the fees and rebates generated on the different Pods.

After initial circulating supply, the token will be distributed in the following way:

* **15% for Team (Locked and vested)**
* **15% for Growth and Marketing**
* **21% Ecosystem Fund**
* **10% for Potential Listing(s)**
* **23% for LP & Incentives**
* **16% for Private Sales (if not filled, will be distributed for Ecosystem)**
